GEC INUAGURATES 2 COMMITTEES

✝ A Call to Work Together in Unity
The Moderator of the Global Evangelical Church, Rt. Rev. Prosper Samuel Dzomeku, has issued a heartfelt call for unity and collaboration among the Church’s committees. Speaking during the inauguration of two key bodies—the Global Evangelical Press Board of Directors and the Theological Committee—he emphasized the importance of working together with a shared purpose to fulfill the Church’s mission.

Drawing inspiration from scripture, Rt. Rev. Dzomeku referenced God’s use of the phrase “Let us” in Genesis, highlighting the divine model of unity within the Trinity. He reminded the committees that the Global Evangelical Church operates under the Presbyterian system, which is rooted in collective decision-making and mutual support.

The Moderator explained that the Theological Committee was established to help the Church respond appropriately to contemporary doctrinal issues, while the Press Board is tasked with resetting the strategic direction for the operations of the Press.
The Theological Committee comprises Very Rev. Dr. Edem K. Tettey, Rev. Dr. Ernestina Atsu (Mrs), Rev. Dr. Michael I.K. Alloteh, Rev. Dr. F.F.K. Abotchie, Apostle Jude Hama, Rev. F.L. Sackitey, Rev. Dr. Ron Macaulay, Dr. Harry Agbanu, and Rev. Dr. Smith Tettey. The Press Board of Directors includes Dr. Peter Hayibor (Esq.), Mr. Jonathan Acquah (Esq.), Mr. Solomon Dziekpor, Rev.
