An appeal has been made for Christian leaders to be cautious of the length of days of fasting declared for Church members. This is in view of the serious health hazards some groups of members may be exposed to if not properly guided. The Moderator of the Global Evangelical Church, Rt. Rev. Prosper Samuel Dzomeku made the call at a meeting with Presbyters of the Accra Presbytery of the Global Evangelical Church in Accra. He also used the occasion to urge Presbyters not to relent in pursuing formal education which would position them to lead their members in constructive ways.
The event also saw the election of substantive Executives for the Accra Presbyters Union.
